Today’s episode (our first EVER!) opened with an “About Us” segment that explored the meaning and application of Matthew 16:15 where Jesus asks His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” The bottom line being that what we believe matters, what we believe determines how we ultimately live, what we believe must be carefully considered, and what we believe must be based in God’s Truth!
We then went on to discuss what the recent Puerto Rican Festival Outreach and our summer plans for evangelism. We then examined an article from Dr. Michael Brown that looks at the “slippery slope” from same-sex “marriage” to other forms of perversion being accepted and authorized in the culture. For our “Jared’s Gems” segment, Jared unpacked a deep thought on friendship, leadership and discipleship from John 15:14-15.
Then Joe brought a word on the “new self” from Ephesians 4:23-24. And finally we answered your questions, one particularly dealing with whether church membership was necessary for salvation.
