Jesus sad in Matthew 28:18-20, “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Everything the church does from hospital visits to Sunday school classes to worship gatherings to hear the Word preached; needs to be carried by the two legs of the gospel- evangelism and discipleship.
All doctrinal discourse, every creed and Bible institute needs to be brought forth from the gospel as Jesus taught it to His disciples. And thus must be passed unto to every new soul won to the Lord and then instructed to be a disciple that makes new disciples.
Without Christ and His Word there is no church and without evangelism and discipleship it cannot grow and be established in the land.
