John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word [logos/logic], and the Word [logos/logic] was with God, and the Word [logos/logic] was God.”

It is often translated into English as “Word” but can also mean thought, speech, account, meaning, reason, proportion, principle, standard, or logic, among other things. And if Logic seems as a stretch to John 1:1 just consider what Jesus said of Himself in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Truth has no reference without God the Son being it’s very source- nor does logic/reason.
Nor does wisdom for that matter… 1 Corinthians 1:24, “but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
Therefore, Jesus is the source of all:
- Logic/reason
- Truth
- Wisdom
