The Kingdom of God, which is the rule of God in hearts and upon the earth through King Jesus is a powerful reminder to why Jesus matters not only in a salvation sense, but in a governmental aspect (Psalm 2).

JESUS PREACHED THE KINGDOM

Matthew 4:17, “From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

Acts 1:3, “After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.”

THE APOSTLES PREACHED THE KINGDOM

Acts 28:31, “He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!”

THE KINGDOM HAS REQUIREMENTS

1 Corinthians 6:9-11, “9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

THE KINGDOM IS FULL OF LOVE & POWER

Romans 14:17-18, “17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.”

1 Corinthians 4:20, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”

THE KINGDOM WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD

Revelation 11:15, “The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

ARE YOU READY TO RULE AND REIGN WITH CHRIST IN HIS KINGDOM?

Revelation 1:4-8, “4 ‘Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father —to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen. 8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
